Eight Riverdogs experienced their first ever West Raleigh Minor League game today! The Riverdogs had quite the cheering section scattered all over Nowell field with friends and family. We played hard against the Scrappers in the heat! Here's how we looked DEFENSIVELY...
1st inning:
Gavin (pitcher) to Hayden (third) at third for out #1
Double play by Ben...caught a line drive, then tagged second base because the runner didn't tag up. Great job #27!
2nd inning:
Hayden caught a fly ball at third for out #1
Gavin (pitcher) to Hayden (third) for an out
3rd inning:
Lance had an unassisted play at first for out #1
Ben (shortstop) to Gavin (second) at second for out #2
Lance caught a fly ball at first for the last out
4th inning:
Gavin had an unassisted play at second for an out
5th inning:
Ben leaped towards third and left centerfield and caught the fly ball for the first out
Hayden (third) to Ben (shortstop) at third for out #2
Gavin (pitcher) to Lance (first) for out #3
Great job outfielders...Griffin D, Alex, Nathaniel, Brock, Brayden, Bailey, Griffin W and Will!
