Here's how we looked DEFENSIVELY...
1st inning:
Ben (shortstop) to Gavin (second) for the first out
Due to some errors...4 runs scored between the first and second out...Coach Paul called time and had every Riverdog hustle to him to regroup
After the end of the 1st inning...Riverdogs were down 5-1
2nd inning:
Hayden (third) to Gavin (second) for an out
Ben (shortstop) to Gavin (second) for the last out
At the end of the 2nd...Riverdogs were down 6-2
3rd inning:
Gavin (second) to Ben (shortstop) at second for outs 1 and 2
Griffin D (pitcher) to Lance (first) for the last out

Griffin (pitcher) to Ben (shortstop) at second for out #2

Then, a double play! Gavin caught a fly ball at second (with a runner on first) and then threw the ball to Lance (first) for the final out!!!
At the end of the 5th...Riverdogs were down 7-5
6th inning:
Griffin D caught a fly ball (his glove was on the ground and caught the ball) for out #1 and then turned it into a double play because he threw the ball to Lance (first base) since there was a runner on first for out #2!!!!
