RIVERDOGS 4 Bees 14

The game was to start at 2pm, but due to Hurricane Sandy...our game was to start 20 minutes after the Lookouts/Bulls game. So, first pitch was around 11am on Saturday. The Riverdogs were not playing like they had been the last 3 games, so we took the loss 14-4 against the Bees. Here's how we looked DEFENSIVELY...

1st inning:
Ben (shortstop) to Gavin (second) for out #1
Gavin (second) to Lance (first) for out #2
Ben (shortstop) to Hayden (third) for the last out

2nd inning:
Lance caught a fly ball at first for out #1
Hayden caught a low fly ball at third for out #2
Griffin caught a fly ball at pitcher for out #3

3rd inning:
Gavin caught a fly ball at second for out #1
Gavin (second) to Lance (first) for the second out
Griffin (pitcher) to Hayden (third) for the last out

4th inning:
Gavin caught a fly ball at first for the first out
Griffin (pitcher) to Ben (shortstop) at second for out #2
Ben (shortstop) to Gavin (second) for the last out

5th inning:
Lance had an unassisted play at first for out #1
Griffin (pitcher) to Lance (first) for out #2

6th inning:
Lance had an unassisted play at first for out #1
Ben caught a fly ball at shortstop for out #2
Griffin (pitcher) to Lance (first) for out #3

GW and Bailey did an awesome job sharing the duties behind the plate! Also, the outfielders kept busy today...great job Alex, Nathaniel, Brock, Brayden, Bailey, GW and Will!!!

Since this was our first loss in the tournament, we face the Bulls in the next game (back to back games this morning).
