RIVERDOGS 10 Bulls 7

In a 5:30pm game against the Bulls tonight, the Riverdogs walked away with a win!! The second win of the season!

We had a great showing on the defense...great job getting the ball quickly into the infield from the outfield and also way to back each other up! Nice work in the outfield Lance, Alex, Nathaniel, Brock, Brayden, Griffin W and Will! Our catchers were definitely working hard behind the plate - Alex, Brayden and Griffin W!

DEFENSIVELY...

1st inning:
Nathaniel (centerfield) to Ben (shortstop) at second for out #1
Griffin (pitcher) to Lance (first) for out #2
Gavin had an unassisted play at second for the last out

2nd inning:
Gavin (second) to Lance (first) for outs 1, 2 and 3 in a nice 1-2-3 inning!

3rd inning:
Ben (shortstop) to Hayden (third) for an out
Griffin (second) to Gavin (first) for the last out

4th inning:
A great 1-2-3 inning!
Griffin (pitcher) to Lance (first) for out #1
Gavin (second) to Lance (first) for out #2
Ben caught a line drive at shortstop for out #3

5th inning:
Ben (shortstop) to Hayden (third) for an out
Ben caught a fly ball at shortstop for the last out

6th inning:
A great double play...Ben caught a line drive and then threw the ball to Lance (first)!
Gavin (second) to Lance (first) for the final out!
